Me and My Foodblog
I wrote this back last year, for my old blog, New Dishes, Old Plates. I’ve since let the domain go as part of the spend reduction at Chez Click. The posts are here (or will be soon) and some new stuff that you’ll hopefully enjoy.
The intro is still pretty true.
One day I woke up and decided I wanted to be a foodblogger. No, that isn’t quite right.
One day I woke up and thought I didn’t have quite enough abandoned blogs all over the interwebs, I needed another one. No, that isn”t quite right either.
One day I added a slew of foodblogs to my feeds, and they have become my favorite reads. Goodness knows that the political crap is turning my stomach and the economists are way scary and the green mafia is making me batchit. Everyone’s so damn offended that maybe we should all just call a moratorium on things we know we can’t agree on. Let’s just talk about dinner instead.
I love to cook all different types of food, and I have inherited my Grandma’s china sets. So let’s eat, from the plates we remember when life was a lot less complicated, and the biscuits seemed a whole lot bigger.
